Saint Germain, the Trocadéro, Paris from the Seine (Bateaux Mouche)

Apparently, I don’t know which time zone I am in. A bit of a rough night as I didn’t fall asleep until 4 a.m., so we eased into the day rather than jump starting it.  After a lovely breakfast prepared by Foy, Mom & I walked into town to the Saint Germain parish church.

It's rough when someone fixes you breakfast every morning

As we made our way into Paris we stopped at the Trocadero for the quintessential Eiffel tower photos.  The Trocadéro, is an area of Paris in the 16tharrondissement, across the Seine from the Eiffel Tower. The hill of the Trocadéro is the hill of Chaillot, a former village.
Tired, but really happy

Sisters-almost "Irish twins". we're only 10 and a half months apart

We then headed to the Bateaux Mouches (“river boat”) for a tour on the Seine. Foy’s Aunt who is also visiting at this time, her boyfriend & another family friend met us there for the tour leaving from the Pont d’Alma. It was great way to see Paris’ most beautiful iconic monuments from the water including drifting by the Eiffel tower, Place de la Concorde, Musee, D’Orsay, & the Louvre.
